About this ebook

Money can buy anything. And anyone. As the head of the Constantine family, I’m used to people bowing to my will. Cruel, rigid, unyielding—I’m all those things. When I discover the one woman who doesn’t wither under my gaze, but instead smiles right back at me, I’m intrigued.

Ash Elliott needs cash, and I make her trade in crudeness and degradation for it. I crave her tears, her moans. I pay for each one. And every time, she comes back for more. When she challenges me with an offer of her own, I have to decide if I’m willing to give her far more than cold hard cash.

But love can have deadly consequences when it comes from a Constantine. At the stroke of midnight, that choice may be lost for both of us.

Welcome to the Midnight Dynasty... The warring Morelli and Constantine families have enough bad blood to fill an ocean, and their brand new stories will be told by your favorite dangerous romance authors.

Loved. It. The book was spectacular which is what I have come to expect from K Webster. Her stories are suspenseful, dark, edgy and a complete page turner. This one was the same and so much more. I simply couldn’t put it down. At times I was speechless but totally in a good way. Winston and Ash had explosive chemistry and a genuine connection which I could feel in every single page from the start to the end. Full of twists and turns you don’t see coming, I know their romance is going to be an epic tale.

A Hot and Heavy Read if you are into erotic humiliation and degradation. I just want to start off saying that this really isn’t my kind of kink to read. I don’t get off on the erotic humiliation thing but each to their own and if that’s your thing there’s no judgement here and this book may well be for you. For me though, it wasn’t the type of kink that made me give it a 3 star review it was more the way it was written. I won’t give any spoilers away, but I’ve read my fair share of BDSM/kink and I just didn’t feel it was realistic or sensitive to the codes that that community live by. However, the steam between the 2 main characters is palpable and it was good to see there were some lighter moments too. It was a little easier to read towards the last quarter of the book as Winston started to redeem himself a little.

K. Webster is a new author to me and I think I have just become a fan after reading this book. I have never read anything like Stroke of Midnight. It’s a modern day spin on Cinderella and boy was it a wild one. Ash is the Cinderella living with her father, her new stepmother, and her evil step brothers known as the “Terror Triplets.” She is working as a maid until she meets Winston Constantine a very very rich man who makes her an offer she can’t refuse. Ash and Winston have a very unconventional relationship. There were so many twists in this book and I can't believe we have to wait until January for the next one!
